Which doesn&#8217;t make sense.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Remove Any Part of the Post-Meta Line in Canvas Theme<\/h2>\n<p>Thankfully there is actually a really easy way to edit this in Canvas.<\/p>\n<p>In your Admin area simply go to <strong>Canvas &gt; Filters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll see there is a section titled &#8220;Above post content&#8221; which\u00a0controls exactly what is shown in the post-meta.<\/p>\n<p>It looks like this:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-632\" src=\"https:\/\/nz.blog.geektactics.co.nz\/geektamin\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/08\/abovepostcontent.png\" alt=\"abovepostcontent\" width=\"783\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geektactics.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/08\/abovepostcontent.png 783w, https:\/\/geektactics.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/08\/abovepostcontent-300x82.png 300w, https:\/\/geektactics.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/08\/abovepostcontent-623x170.png 623w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 783px) 100vw, 783px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So all you have to do is remove whichever section you don&#8217;t want.<\/p>\n<p>For example\u00a0if you don&#8217;t want the Author to show, delete <code>&lt;span class=\"small\"&gt;By&lt;\/span&gt;[[post_author_posts_link]]<\/code><br \/>\nThen hit &#8216;Save Changes&#8217; and the author is gone.<\/p>\n<h2>Remove the Author Box and Subscription Box<\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;ll also want to remove the Author box from the bottom of the posts. \u00a0And you may want to to remove the &#8220;Subscribe&#8221; box too.<\/p>\n<p>These can both be removed in the Canvas settings.
